Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s new DLC has been announced. Titled “The Order of Giants”, the DLC was unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase and is set to release on September 4, 2025 for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Game Pass will be able to continue Indiana Jones’ epic adventure with this thrilling new chapter.

Set during the events of the base game, The Order of Giants sees Indiana Jones return to the historic city of Rome, where he’s called upon to investigate a hidden mystery beneath the ancient streets. Joining him is Father Ricci, a mysterious young priest who enlists Indy’s help to locate a powerful and elusive artifact. What begins as a typical treasure hunt soon spirals into a far more dangerous mission, as Indy navigates through ancient Roman crypts, explores the ruins of the Colosseum, and uncovers a dark secret buried in the city’s forgotten past.

Players will take on complex puzzles, delve into the ancient Cloaca Maxima sewer system, and face off against members of a shadowy cult determined to halt Indiana’s progress by any means necessary. In classic Indiana Jones style, expect plenty of suspense, clever traps, and thrilling moments—along with the possibility of encountering familiar faces from the main story.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is already available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Game Pass. The highly anticipated DLC, The Order of Giants, promises to expand the universe even further when it launches on September 4, 2025.

What’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Story about?

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set in 1937, where Indy returns to Marshall College after parting ways with Marion Ravenwood. His peaceful life is disrupted when a mysterious man named Locus breaks in, steals a cat mummy, and leaves behind a clue connected to the Vatican Secret Archive. Jones follows the trail to Vatican City, where he teams up with journalist Gina Lombardi, who is searching for her missing sister.

Together, they uncover a secret order of giants, the Nephilim, who have long protected the mystery of the “Great Circle”—a sacred alignment of religious sites across the globe. Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss is also pursuing the Great Circle’s power and steals ancient stones tied to it. Jones and Gina stow away on Voss’s zeppelin as he embarks on a dangerous mission, racing across Gizeh, the Himalayas, Shanghai, and Siam, encountering ancient civilizations, powerful relics, and devastating truths.

As the chase intensifies, Gina is captured and Locus begins to aid Jones, warning him of the danger in unlocking the Great Circle’s full potential. The final showdown occurs at the Ziggurat of Ur, where Voss activates the Ark, triggering a catastrophic flood meant to help the Nazis reshape the world. Jones confronts Voss, ultimately defeating him as the Ark’s power becomes uncontrollable.

Locus saves humanity by teleporting the Ark away, stopping the flood. Though Jones and Gina develop a bond during their journey, they part ways in the end—Gina choosing her path as a journalist and Indy returning to his life, once again changed by the weight of ancient secrets and lost civilizations.
