007 First Light

IO Interactive’s new James Bond game is off to an explosive commercial start. 007 First Light has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide within its first 24 hours of release, making it the fastest-selling title in the studio’s history.

The stealth-action adventure, available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, has outperformed every previous IO Interactive release — including the acclaimed Hitman series.

Strong Cross-Platform Performance and Player Overlap

According to estimates from Alinea Analytics, roughly one-third of the first-day sales came from PC via Steam, accounting for approximately 500,000 copies. Data also shows that around one-third of players on Steam have previously engaged with IO’s flagship Hitman franchise.

On Steam, US leads with 29% of players, while China ranks as the second-largest market at 18% — a notably strong showing for a Western AAA title.
