A trailer has leaked revealing major details about the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune DLC, including its release date and new gameplay features.

The trailer was reportedly published early as an unlisted video before Ubisoft removed it, showcasing footage from the upcoming expansion. According to the leak, A Pirate’s Fortune DLC is scheduled to release on May 15th, 2025.

It was originally planned to premiere at the Star Wars Celebration fan event, the trailer made its way online prematurely and has since been reuploaded by users on platforms like ResetEra and Streamable.

New Storyline, Characters & Locations

The DLC follows Kay Vess and her companion Nix as they explore the Khepi system, diving into an adventurous mission to prove true leadership. Players will join forces with iconic Star Wars pirate Hondo Ohnaka and confront new antagonist Stinger Tash and her crew, the Rokana Raiders.

As part of the mission, players will infiltrate the Khepi Tomb, uncover hidden treasures, and uncover secrets buried deep within the galaxy. The storyline also introduces the Miyuki Trade League, a new faction offering high-value rewards for players willing to take on risky smuggling contracts.

Free Skeleton Crew-Themed Rewards

Alongside the DLC launch, Ubisoft is also rolling out a content update for all players. This update includes free cosmetic items inspired by the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series, such as:

  • A new outfit for Nix
  • A Trophy for the speeder
  • Trinkets for both the speeder and the Trailblazer ship

These will be delivered directly to the player’s crate on the Trailblazer after the update is installed.

Three-Hour Free Demo Now Available

Ubisoft has also released a new demo for Star Wars Outlaws, allowing players to try out the game for up to three hours. However, progression in the demo does not carry over to the full version.

Second and Final Story Expansion

A Pirate’s Fortune is the second and final story DLC for Star Wars Outlaws. The first expansion, Wild Card, launched in November and featured Kay navigating a dangerous Sabacc tournament while encountering Lando Calrissian.

Despite its ambitious scale, Star Wars Outlaws had a slow sales start when it launched last year. Ubisoft has since rolled out several updates, including significant gameplay changes such as the removal of stealth elements from most missions.

Coming Soon to Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft recently confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2, further expanding its player base as anticipation builds around the upcoming DLC.
