Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

MachineGames has confirmed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will run at native 4K resolution with advanced ray tracing on the PlayStation 5 Pro. The announcement was made via the official PlayStation Blog, where it was revealed that the PS5 Pro will deliver the highest-quality console experience of the game to date.

In comparison, Digital Foundry reports that the game runs at an average of 1800p on Xbox Series X with dynamic resolution scaling.

Production Director John Jennings said,

“Playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at native 4K is the ultimate way to appreciate the intricate detail we’ve built into every environment.”

He also highlighted areas like Marshall College’s artifact collection and Sukhothai’s lush jungle landscapes as examples of MachineGames’ meticulous world-building.

Although the title initially launched in 2024 on Xbox and PC, where it received critical acclaim—scoring 86 on consoles and 87 on PC via Metacritic—the PlayStation 5 version is now officially set to launch on April 17, 2025.

MachineGames is also working on a major story expansion titled The Order of the Giants, scheduled to release sometime in 2025. In a recent interview, Lucasfilm Games’ leadership expressed strong interest in expanding the franchise, hinting at the potential for more Indiana Jones stories in the future.
