Scheduled for release in 2025, the game is set to merge elements from the beloved Sonic Racing and Sonic Riders series, creating an exciting mix of car racing and hoverboard action.

This announcement aligns with Sega’s declaration of 2024 as “The Year of Shadow”, following the character’s major appearances in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and the story expansion in Sonic X Shadow Generations. The DLC for Shadow Generations even includes Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Shadow from the live-action Sonic films.
