The highly acclaimed Lies of P is set to expand its story with a DLC launch confirmed for the first quarter of 2025. Publisher Neowiz has also revealed exciting developments at Round 8 Studio, including a sequel to Lies of P and a brand-new survival horror game set in a sci-fi universe. While specific details remain under wraps, these announcements highlight the studio’s ambitious plans for the future.

Neowiz commented on the upcoming sci-fi survival horror project, stating, “It is still too early to disclose the progress of the project,” while adding that “It’s one of the PC and console games that Round 8 Studio is preparing.” Although the development timeline for the new IP remains undisclosed, fans are eager to see how the studio adapts its expertise to a new genre.

Details about the Lies of P DLC remain limited, with no precise release date provided beyond early 2025. Previously, Jiwan Choi, the game’s director, shared insights on the team’s approach to the upcoming content and sequel, saying, “For the DLC of the Lies of P and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow. It might sound simple, but I think sticking to the basics is anything but easy. Thankfully, I have amazing colleagues in whom I can place my full trust.”

Both the DLC and the sequel have been confirmed to be in development concurrently, reflecting Round 8 Studio’s dedication to delivering compelling narratives and enhanced gameplay experiences. Lies of P originally launched in 2023 for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam, and was also included in Xbox Game Pass at release. The title received positive reception, achieving Metacritic scores of 80 (PS5), 83 (PC), and 84 (Xbox Series X/S). Neowiz also announced that the game sold over one million copies within its first month, cementing its place as a standout title in the action RPG genre.
