Sony has officially confirmed several games that will be optimized for the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is set to release on November 7, 2024, priced at $699.99 / £699.99 / €799.99 / ¥119,980. While around 50 games are expected to be enhanced by the launch, the currently confirmed titles are:

  • Alan Wake 2
  • Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
  • Demon’s Souls
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2
  • Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • Horizon Forbidden West
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • The Crew Motorfest
  • The First Descendant
  • The Last of Us Part II Remastered

During a live stream, system lead Mark Cerny detailed some game-specific enhancements. For example, Horizon Forbidden West will run at 4K and 60FPS with improvements to lighting, visual effects, and character detail. The Last of Us Part II Remastered will offer a smooth 60FPS, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature more detailed environments at the same frame rate. Gran Turismo 7 will include ray-traced reflections during gameplay, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will maintain 60FPS while delivering enhanced detail.

Games without dedicated PS5 Pro patches will still benefit from the PS5 Pro Game Boost, which can improve performance and image quality for over 8,500 backward-compatible PS4 titles.
