Both games will support universal purchase and cross-progression across Apple devices. Players can try a portion of each game for free upon release.
Capcom has announced that the iPhone and iPad versions of Resident Evil 7 will include a new auto-fire feature, allowing weapons to fire automatically after aiming at enemies for a set time. Compatible Bluetooth controllers will also be supported on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, providing a console-like experience.
