Grand Theft Auto 6 for PC

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 was unveiled in December, with a planned release date set for 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

In a recent interview at the TD Cowen conference, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was questioned about the absence of a PC announcement for the game. He responded by noting that the lack of an announcement doesn’t necessarily mean it’s definite. “The only thing that happens after the lack of an announcement is an announcement, or a continuing lack of an announcement,” he stated, as transcribed by VGC.

He emphasized that Rockstar Games typically follows a specific strategy for platform announcements and will provide more information in due time. Zelnick added that the company aims to meet consumers wherever they are, on any platform that makes sense over time.

Recently, Take-Two updated its financial guidance, narrowing the release window for Grand Theft Auto 6 to the fall/autumn of 2025. Additionally, they highlighted the success of Grand Theft Auto 5, which achieved $1 billion in retail sales faster than any other entertainment release in history, and has shipped approximately 200 million units since its 2013 release.
