The excitement around EA Sports F1 25 is reaching new heights as the game prepares for a grand launch on May 30. With a wide array of improvements, gameplay tweaks, and fresh features, EA Codemasters is all set to deliver an immersive racing experience.

Community-Driven Gameplay Updates

F1 25

According to Gavin Cooper, Creative Director at EA Codemasters, the development team has been actively listening to player feedback, ensuring that F1 25 is a game for both newcomers and seasoned racers.

“We’re never short of feedback,” says Gavin. “We listen to the community, and that informs a lot of our features this year.”

From Esports drivers to content creators, a range of voices influenced the game’s evolution, resulting in improved car handling, a TV-style presentation, and authentic driver voiceovers. Players will hear real drivers’ voices in various race contexts, enhancing the game’s realism.

My Team Mode Gets a Strategic Overhaul

One of the standout improvements in F1 25 is the revamped My Team mode. Players now take on the role of team owners, managing two drivers instead of just being owner-drivers.

“We know being an owner-driver is not authentic to the sport,” says Gavin. “But now having to manage two drivers opens up a lot of interesting decisions for the player.”

This change adds complexity, allowing players to make strategic decisions like contract negotiations, driver upgrades, and managing relationships. Different engine suppliers now provide unique audio, addressing a long-standing player request for authentic engine sounds.

Braking Point: Expanding the Narrative Experience

F1 25 continues to build on its popular Braking Point story mode. Players will experience an even more dynamic narrative with branching choices.

“Now, when key events happen, you can choose between two Konnersport drivers, resulting in various ripple effects,” Gavin explains.

Players can also integrate their Konnersport team into the Career Mode, adding flexibility to their journey in F1 25.

Enhanced Realism with Track Customization

For those who crave realism, F1 25 delivers with improved track accuracy, thanks to LIDAR scanning of five circuits, including Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka, and Imola. Reverse track layouts for Silverstone, Zandvoort, and Austria provide a fresh challenge, even for veteran racers.

“You think you know those courses, but when you actually get to play them, they really do feel like brand new tracks,” says Gavin.

EA Sports F1 25: A New Era in Racing Games

As EA Sports F1 25 approaches its release date, the game is set to deliver a refined and dynamic racing experience. With updates to My Team, the evolving Braking Point narrative, and unmatched realism on iconic tracks, F1 25 is a must-play for racing enthusiasts.

Get ready to experience the thrill of the track when EA Sports F1 25 launches on PS5 on May 30.
