Assassin's Creed Shadow unveiled by Ubisoft!

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been officially revealed by Ubisoft as they ditch the codename Red in favor of the title. Official reveal of the most-awaited Japan-themed stealth game on Wednesday, May 15th. “Assassin’s Creed Codename Red becomes Assassin’s Creed Shadows.” The tweet further says, “Tune-in for the Official Cinematic World Premiere Trailer on May 15, 9 AM PT.”

Note that they have described the reveal as “Cinematic World Premiere Trailer”, so it’s likely we won’t see much in-game footage. The trailer will premiere on Ubisoft’s official channel with the premiere runtime of 03:49 Minutes.

With Summer Game Fest scheduled for June 2024, it’s still very much likely we’ll see more of the game sooner at the usual Ubisoft Forward event broadcast on June 10th.

In a press release, Ubisoft has unveiled an intriguing addition to the Assassin’s Creed social media platforms: the “hourglass puzzle,” promising rewards for those who can solve it. This enigmatic teaser hints at hidden secrets awaiting discovery.

Shadows, previously announced amidst a wave of upcoming Assassin’s Creed titles, is hailed as the vanguard of the franchise’s open-world RPG future. While set in feudal Japan and intertwined with Assassin’s Creed Infinity, official details remain scarce. In the metadata of the game’s Ubisoft Store listing, platforms for Shadows include PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
